For years and years I did my own taxes. I’d buy the new software for the year, collect all my tax papers, then figure out how to input it all and what forms to use and when. I’m a technical person, so I always figured I could do it cheaply and easily. But as time went on, I realized it was getting too complicated to know what form to use, when to use them and in the end I believe I was losing money and not getting the best returns. Years ago I went to Cathy Burton and she was amazing. For me it was as easy as here are my documents and letting Cathy do all the work. If needed, Cathy would contact me to discuss it, get more information. And in no time at all, Cathy would contact me stating it was all done. She had all of the information in a binder and very well sorted. Fantastic and so easy. I will always bring my taxes to Cathy because I know I never have to worry about the “government details” on doing taxes.
